"Uiro" is said to be the birthplace of "Uiro", which was born in the Muromachi period about 600 years ago. It is a long - established store that has maintained its tradition for 25 generations. Originally, "Uiro" referred to medicine made by the Uiro family, and later on, steamed rice flour sweets designed for serving customers came to be called "Sweet Uiro." Today, "Uiro" still manufactures and sells "Uiro" medicine as well as sweets. "Uiro", a confectionery made by "Uiro", is characterized by its chewy texture and refreshing, elegant sweetness.
