Sengan Pass Chaya Tazawako is located just beyond the Sengan Tunnel on the border between Akita and Iwate Prefectures. This historic drive - in has been a resting place for travelers traveling through the mountain pass for over 50 years since its establishment in 1966, and continues to soothe fatigue. In addition to the famous "sweet oden", there is a wide variety of menu items, including noodles such as ramen, soba, and udon, set meals, rice bowls, and curry rice, so you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the spectacular view of the Obonai River. Recommended for sightseeing around Lake Tazawa, which is full of nature.
