A French-Style Steak Restaurant

Further experience includes serving as executive chef at the Embassy of Japan in Belgium, working at Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium and France, and training under Laurent Tourondel, former owner-chef of the BLT Group in New York. The setting balances refined elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, providing a relaxed backdrop for anniversaries and other special occasions.
Tabiiro’s picks: signature dishes
"80g Kuroge Wagyu Lava Stone Steak" Grilled Over Lava Stone
The restaurant's signature "80g Kuroge Wagyu Lava-Stone Steak" reflects meticulous attention to both ingredient selection and cooking methods, featuring high-quality "Yokohama Beef" from Kanagawa, a branded beef produced using eco-feed that recycles byproducts from food manufacturing as cattle feed. Expert grilling creates a fragrant surface while sealing in the meat's natural umami, resulting in a melt-in-the-mouth texture and the distinctive sweet aroma of Wagyu. Colorful French-style accompaniments featuring an abundance of "Kamakura Vegetables" add visual appeal while complementing the rich flavor of "Yokohama Beef."
-
A Cooking Method Using Lava Stone's Far-Infrared Effect
The steak develops a fragrant, crisp exterior while remaining juicy within, with its natural juices sealed inside. Slow grilling with the far-infrared heat of lava stone allows heat to reach the center evenly, helping retain umami and moisture while bringing out the natural flavor of the ingredients.
-
Vibrant "Kamakura Vegetables" as a Colorful Side
More than 20 varieties of "Kamakura Vegetables" are sourced from trusted producers at the "Kamakura City Farmers' Cooperative Direct Sales Market." Seasonal dishes are carefully prepared to bring out the natural qualities of these ingredients, earning strong praise for their fresh, seasonally expressive flavors.
Popular pairings
"Tuna Carpaccio, Garden Style"
Tuna Carpaccio, Garden Style is a seasonal presentation featuring exceptionally fresh seafood and colorful "Kamakura Vegetables," with each ingredient carefully prepared to highlight its distinctive character. The dish uses fresh "Misaki Tuna" sourced from Misaki Fishing Port, known as one of Japan's leading ports for tuna landings, offering the refined sweetness of high-quality fat, along with more than 20 varieties of seasonal "Kamakura Vegetables" grown by producers trusted by the owner-chef. Beautifully presented, the dish is well suited to anniversaries with someone special and celebratory meals marking important life occasions.
Must-try signature dish
-
"Indian Tuna Tartare with Caviar and Lemon Sauce"
The owner-chef personally visits Misaki Fishing Port to carefully select fresh tuna after assessing its condition that day. The rich umami of the tuna is paired with mellow avocado and finished with high-quality caviar imported from France. The caviar adds delicate salinity and deep flavor, creating an indulgent combination of distinct ingredients.
-
"Birthday Cake" Made for a Memorable Occasion
The anniversary plan includes a lavish French course with the option of a "Birthday Cake" featuring a personalized message to add a festive touch to the celebration. An original custom-designed cake is also available for an additional charge, subject to consultation at the time of booking.
