"Hebikubo Shrine", located in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, is said to have been saved from disaster in 1322, when the area was hit by a major drought, when people prayed for rain at "Ryu Shrine" on the banks of an old pond, and heavy rain fell and the disaster was avoided.
