Monthly Stamps That Change as the Seasons Change
The shrine office distributes a wide variety of Goshuin stamps throughout the year, including a variety of Goshuin stamps with floral designs that change monthly and seasonal changes, "Kiri-e Goshuin stamps" with a design of the Tanabata night sky, and special ones with "One Grain Man's Day" stamps. It's fun every time I visit, including stamps. Many cute charms shaped like various wishes are also popular.

The Once-in-a-decade Ceremony of the Divine Procession
In 2025, the "Gosenza 150th Anniversary Festival" marks 150 years since the enshrined deity, "Futagami-no-Kami," was transferred from Mt Futagami—its traditional sacred site—to the former castle grounds. The centerpiece of the festival is the "Goshinkō," a grand ritual held once every ten years in which the deity symbolically "returns home." The celebration unfolds with a vibrant procession of children in traditional attire and dedicated lion-dance performances, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the precincts.

A Sanctuary and Worship Hall Preserving the Grace of Ancient Architecture
Although the shrine’s roof is now finished with copper plates, it once featured a stately kokerabuki cypress-shingle roof. Its refined linear form preserves elements of ancient shrine architecture inspired by "Yuiitsu Shinmei-zukuri," the style seen at the Grand Shrine of Ise. The calligraphy on the long plaque at the front was written by Lord Maeda Narinaga of the Kaga Domain.
