"Saryo Souen" is a traditional ryokan built in the classic Sukiya style, founded on the concept of "creating a true Japanese inn in Akiu Onsen". The main building and annex have 26 guest rooms with views of the Japanese garden, allowing you to enjoy the changing of the seasons while you stay. For dinner, enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with seafood from Minami Sanriku and Sendai Bay and produce from the countryside. The beneficial hot spring water can be enjoyed in the large communal bath, open-air bath, and open-air bath in the annex guest room. The "Premier Lounge," used as the breakfast venue, becomes a free-use space from midday and serves as a setting for meetings, café use, and work. Seating includes counter seats, sofas, and semi-private booths, accommodating a range of uses. For hotel guests, drinks and soft serve ice cream are available free of charge from midday to late night. During the day, house-made banana muffins and snacks are provided, while during bar hours, one alcoholic drink per person per stay is offered. A complimentary late-night serving of duck soba is also available, limited to 80 portions.
