"Saryo Souen" is a traditional ryokan built in the classic Sukiya style, founded on the concept of "creating a true Japanese inn in Akiu Onsen". The main building and annex have 26 guest rooms with views of the Japanese garden, allowing you to enjoy the changing of the seasons while you stay. For dinner, enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with seafood from Minami Sanriku and Sendai Bay and produce from the countryside. The beneficial hot spring water can be enjoyed in the large communal bath, open-air bath, and open-air bath in the annex guest room. Treatments can be received from top-class beauticians in the rooms, allowing you to relax in a private space and release both body and mind.

This is a 18-room detached house scattered over an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. Depending on your room and the viewing angle, you can enjoy the different aspects of Satoyama, such as the magnificent nature of the Zao Mountain Range, a forest of trees, and a farm filled with home-grown vegetables. You can cross the promenade and take a stroll around the area, visiting the four private open-air baths and admiring the flowers that bloom in each season. The main building of the inn is the central space of Daikon no Hana. The majestic wooden structure, with its 180-year-old beams catching the eye, is a sight to behold. The dishes made with vegetables freshly harvested from their own farm are also gentle and powerful.

The "Premier Lounge", used as the breakfast venue in the morning, transforms into a free space after noon and is available for meetings, café use, or as a workspace. In addition to counter and sofa seating, the lounge features semi-private booths, making it popular among business travellers and students studying on their own. Complimentary drinks and soft-serve ice cream are available for staying guests. During bar time, one alcoholic drink per guest is offered free of charge per stay.
