Approximately 10,000 regional specialty products are available, including "Inaniwa Udon" and "Iburigakko." Known as one of Japan’s leading rice-producing regions and for its active sake brewing culture, Akita is also referred to as a "Kingdom of Fine Sake." The local sake section features selections from breweries across the prefecture, many with histories spanning more than 100 years.
