Dinner is a Japanese banquet meal that lavishly incorporates the seasonal bounty of Izu. You can also choose your main dish and aperitif depending on your mood that day.
When your child is still a baby, we recommend staying at an inn that is ``child-friendly.'' We offer a wide range of services, including special plans for families with babies, special guest rooms with rounded furniture corners and walls for drawing, baby food service, tableware, aprons, and toys for babies. . "Machihaku 456" is a private rental traditional townhouse located in Kambara-juku, a historic post town along the Tokaido Road, approximately a 10-minute walk from JR Kambara Station. The detached bath area in the main house features a semi-open-air bath where seasonal scenery and bathing can be experienced beneath soothing lighting. A small courtyard garden extends beyond the windows, adding an airy sense of openness along with a chic, refined design. Baby bathtubs for infants are also available for loan, providing a comfortable bathing experience for families with young children.

The restaurant is popular for its food, home-roasted coffee, and wine selection, all prepared by the husband-and-wife owner. Rather than sticking to Italian or French cuisine, the restaurant offers a homey, nostalgic course menu, with Western dishes seasoned with a Japanese flavor and Japanese dishes arranged in a Western style, each carefully prepared in a "Funwarikon style" atmosphere. After dinner, the restaurant transforms into a bar, offering wines and snacks carefully selected by the owner - a certified sommelier and passionate wine lover.

This traditional Japanese inn near JR Okitsu Station is located in Okitsu-juku, the 17th post town along the historic Tokaido route, and has a long history dating back to the Edo period. After descending the Tokaido and crossing Satta Pass, the sea opens out ahead, and it is said that travelers were once drawn by the sound of the waves to fresh seafood. The karesansui-style garden "Goyomatsu," present since the inn’s founding, has witnessed this history, and its carefully maintained landscape creates a setting removed from everyday life. The atmosphere reflects traditional Japanese culture and evokes the spirit of the old post town, offering a place for an unhurried stay.
