Aerial Views of the Seto Inland Sea and Primeval Forests

A ropeway that is convenient in "Aki no Miyajima," one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, which embraces the Itsukushima Shrine, registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, the sea, and the primeval forest of Mt. Misen, connecting the foot of Mt. Misen and the summit. The unusual style of riding both a circulating ropeway and an aerial tramway is also interesting, and in March 2026, the aerial tramway gondolas were renewed. "Aki no Miyajima" has long been regarded as an island of the gods and a power spot, and Mt. Misen in particular is appealing for its many must-see areas, such as the lovers’ sacred site "Reikado Hall (Eternal Flame)" and the giant rock tunnel "Kuguri Iwa." A free bus also runs from the entrance of Momijidani Park to the ropeway station.
