Tochigi
This workshop studio offers "Porcelain Art" for creating original tableware and a variety of handmade experiences using natural materials. Surrounded by the rich natural environment of the Nasu Highlands, where rare plant species designated as endangered also grow, visitors can step away from the pace of everyday life and immerse themselves in creative work. After the workshop, the adjoining campground provides additional opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Touching local crafts is also a fun way to spend a rainy day. There are many workshops where you can experience making things such as pottery, glass crafts, and perfume making, and if you try this as a family or couple, it will be an opportunity to discover a surprising side of your family or partner. The results were better than I expected, given the instructions from the instructor. Of course, each piece is a one-of-a-kind piece. It's sure to be a treasure.

SLキューロク館
The "SL Kyuroku Museum" is a base facility in Moka City, Tochigi Prefecture, located next to the east exit of Moka Railway Moka Station. It was named after the nickname "Kyuroku" of the 9600-type steam locomotive, which appeared in the Taisho era (early 1900s) and continued to run until the last day of steam locomotive operation. On weekends and holidays, get a close-up look at the majestic figure of a preserved steam locomotive running on the approximately 30-meter track within the premises, blowing its nostalgic whistle.
