Aichi
"Studio Suzusan" is an old private house located in a quaint retro townscape from the Edo period, about a 5-minute walk from Arimatsu Station on the Nagoya Railway. It is a facility where you can enjoy learning about Nagoya's traditional craft "Arimatsu Narumi Shibori" through hands-on experience. You can choose from four experience courses where you can experience the beauty, the value of handiwork, and local culture. We recommend creating your own original photo to create memories of your trip.
Touching local crafts is also a fun way to spend a rainy day. There are many workshops where you can experience making things such as pottery, glass crafts, and perfume making, and if you try this as a family or couple, it will be an opportunity to discover a surprising side of your family or partner. The results were better than I expected, given the instructions from the instructor. Of course, each piece is a one-of-a-kind piece. It's sure to be a treasure.
