Hotel with Star-Filled Skies and Sweeping Shimanto Views
"Hotel Seira Shimanto" stands in the mountains of Shimanto City, with the Shimanto-gawa River flowing before it. In the early morning, a dreamlike mist wraps around the river, while at night, shining stars spread across the sky. Surrounded by mountain ridgelines, the hotel takes pride in a natural setting that feels unique to this location. Dinner focuses on the flavors of Shimanto and features freshly prepared kaiseki cuisine. Ingredients nurtured by the Shimanto-gawa River, including wild ayu, are featured alongside seasonal blessings from nature. Nearby facilities, such as an astronomical observatory and canoe area, add opportunities for activities unique to a mountain setting.

Savor Locally Raised Japanese Black Wagyu

The "Shimanto Beef Kaiseki" centers on Shimanto Beef, which won the highest award at the 2009 JA Kochi Beef Carcass Competition. This Japanese Black beef, raised along the Shimanto-gawa River basin in a stress-free environment, has a distinctive flavor and a light sweetness.

Hot Springs Overlooking the Nature of the Shimanto River

Ayu, also called fragrant fish, is prized not only for its flavor but also for the aroma that spreads the moment it is tasted. Tenaga shrimp, a specialty of the Shimanto-gawa River, is served as beautifully colored fried shrimp. The shells are edible as well, making it well suited as a snack with drinks.
