Yabucha no Yu, Shimagahara Onsen
"Shimagahara Onsen Yabucha no Yu" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. In addition to a bath with natural hot spring water rich in minerals, an open-air panoramic bath overlooking the countryside, and a large bath that is known for leaving your skin smooth, there is also a sauna, a reclining bath, and more. There is also a free rest area and a souvenir shop with Iga's specialty products. In addition to the hot springs, there is a campsite with sites with power outlets that even beginners can enjoy, where you can relax while feeling the rich nature of the Kizugawa River. Yamada Nishiki no Sato is a tourist spot that represents the Yoshikawa area of Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Yamada Nishiki no Yakata is a complex that includes the Yamada Nishiki Museum "Nishiki no Izumi," the Japanese sake tasting place "Oteshidokoro Kura," and the direct sales store for agricultural products produced in Yoshikawa-cho, Miki City, "Yoshokai," as well as a full-fledged hot spring bath. Hakodate Yumoto Hana no Yu, about 16 minutes by car from JR Hakodate Station, is a day-trip hot spring facility where you can enjoy the free flowing hot spring water. Equipped with a "Garden Open-air Bath" and "Lauryu Sauna" with different Japanese and Western styles, high and low temperature indoor baths, and a negative ion air purifying space "Salt Pit", this facility offers a special feeling of "Toto" after sauna. Recommended for sauna lovers. All of the staff are qualified as hot spring bathing instructors, and the level of hospitality is high.The bath is popular for its fun and healthy bathing experience, and is crowded with people from both local and other countries. 天然温泉かきつばた
Located within the Kariya Highway Oasis on the Isewangan Expressway, "Natural Hot Spring Kakitsubata" features a wide variety of bathing options, including open-air baths with free-flowing hot spring water, a mildly carbonated bath at a low temperature, electric massage baths, esthetic baths, and soothing tubs. The facility also offers saunas and a stone sauna (ganbanyoku). The natural hot spring water, drawn from approximately 1,200 meters underground, is a mildly alkaline chloride spring known for its excellent properties - it absorbs easily into the skin, helps retain body warmth after bathing, and is effective for dry skin and sensitivity to cold. With a range of relaxation spaces, the facility provides a comfortable experience for solo visitors and families alike, making it easy to spend a full day in comfort.
森のゆ花神楽
A day-trip hot spring facility inside Morinoyu Hotel Hanakagura. There is an open-air bath with a view where you can enjoy the majestic view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range on sunny days and a starry sky at night, and the large public bath is equipped with carbonated spring, low-temperature and high-temperature baths, a sauna, and a cold bath. It is well-equipped with a rest room and is popular for its open space where you can relax. It's easily accessible from Asahikawa City Asahiyama Zoo, so it's a great place to stop by after sightseeing.
有馬街道温泉すずらんの湯
Located approximately a 15-minute walk from Kita-Suzurandai Station on the Kobe Electric Railway, this hot spring offers a garden open-air bath where you can enjoy the four seasons on a day trip. The two types of spring water they boast are natural hot spring water that springs from about 1,100 meters underground, and "Miyamizu", which is rich in minerals and is essential for the sake brewing of "Nada", and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. After relaxing in the hot spring, you can also enjoy creative cuisine, including a kaiseki banquet.

"Yuya Harune" stands in a corner of Yuno Onsen in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. They have three types of hot spring facilities: private hot springs, saunas, and large communal baths. The theme of the private hot spring is Yakushi Nyorai. "Tsubotsubo" is an open space where you can also take a bath in the outside air, with a bathtub shaped like the medicinal pot held by the Yakushi Nyorai in his left hand. In addition, the word "koukou," which represents a shining white light, is an image of the moonlight bodhisattva standing next to Yakushi Nyorai, and you can enjoy the feeling of bathing in dim moonlight even during the day. The public bath has been renovated while retaining the form of Yunoso, which closed in 2022, so fans of the old days will feel nostalgic.

This roadside station in Naraha Town, Futaba County, Fukushima, is a facility that combines the atmosphere of the modern "J Village" with Kido-juku on the Hama-kaido road. It is equipped with natural hot spring facilities, and the food court offers a wide variety of local gourmet food, with the "Naraha Kaisen Tanmen (ramen noodles with Stir-fried vegetables)" made with fresh seafood being the most recommended dish. The product hall has a wide selection of Naraha Town's specialties, and is popular as a souvenir or to enjoy local flavors at home.
熊ノ沢温泉
Located approximately a 5-minute drive from JR Hachinohe Station, this day-use hot spring facility is easily accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen. The natural Koki-no-Yu spring water, drawn from a depth of around 800 metres, flows freely at 100% capacity. The seasonal scenery viewed from the open-air bath offers a particularly special experience. The spring water, known as a “bijin-no-yu” (beautiful skin bath), is rich in botanical extracts and natural moisturising components, gently warming the body to the core in a short time. A wide variety of bathing options are available, including an artificial carbonated spring bath, a low-frequency electric bath, the Be-Skin Bath (women’s area only) with ultra-fine microbubbles, and a sauna. After bathing, unwind at "Momidokoro Hogushiya", a massage corner within the facility. Locally grown, carefully selected vegetables are also available for purchase.
箱根小涌園ユネッサン

Known as "Hot springs for beautiful skin" due to their excellent heat retention and skin-enhancing properties, the facility offers 11 types of baths, including an open-air bath, as well as a sauna, ensuring a peaceful environment to unwind.
スパリゾート雄琴あがりゃんせ
This day-trip hot spring facility on the shores of Lake Biwa features hot springs from two private sources. Guests can enjoy an indoor bath, a spacious open-air bath with Shigaraki-ware pot baths, a bedrock bath, a sauna, and a footbath. The deep-water bath is also a popular highlight. Beyond hot springs, the facility offers Japanese, grilled meat, and Italian restaurants, a theater with free popular plays, and a manga and magazine corner for all-day enjoyment. Located in Kitahiroshima Town and surrounded by the lush nature of the Geihoku area in Hiroshima Prefecture, this natural hot spring facility with 15 private day-use rooms opened in April 2025. Just a five-minute drive from Chiyoda Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, it welcomes drivers and motorcyclists looking to ease the fatigue of a long journey. Room types include "Standard" and "Semi-Premium," each with indoor and open-air baths and a combined changing and rest area, as well as "Premium," which adds a sauna, cold bath, and massage chair. The private setting allows couples, families, and friends to relax while soaking in mineral-rich cloudy water, abundant in iron and gentle on the skin.

サウナコタンサッポロ
"Sauna Cotan Sapporo" is located about a six-minute drive from the "Daiwa House Premist Dome" in Toyohira Ward, Sapporo. Its name combines the Finnish word kota, meaning "Hut," and the Ainu word kotan, meaning "Village." This auto-loyly sauna is supervised by a board member of the Japan Sauna Society. The men’s sauna features brick walls reminiscent of a Scandinavian sauna hut, while the women’s sauna has benches encircling a stove, evoking the feeling of a bonfire in a Finnish forest. Shiohama no Yu Shikoku Kenkomura, located approximately 10 minutes by car from Sakaide IC on the Seto Chuo Expressway, is a hot spring facility where you can enjoy a bath, sauna, and meals all day long. There are a variety of baths for men and women, and the women's bathroom has a new exclusive "Lowry sauna", where they hold daily self-lowry sessions, which are rare in Kagawa Prefecture, and Aufguss, which involves raising steam and blowing hot air through it. You can enjoy popular theater performances inside the building, and the restaurant offers local gourmet food from Kagawa Prefecture and a wide variety of drinks.
