Located on Hitoyadocho Ninjo Street in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City, this private sauna with a living space accommodates one group per session. "Michi-no-eki Yokawa" is a representative tourist spot in the Yoshikawa area of Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. It features the "Yamada Nishiki Digital Museum," a sake tasting corner called "Yokawa Sakagura-dori" where you can sample sake made from "Yamada Nishiki," and a complex facility called "Yamada Nishiki no Yakata" where local agricultural products are also available. Additionally, it includes the Yoshikawa Onsen Yokatan, a hot spring facility known for its abundant carbonation content, to showcase the charm of the Yoshikawa area.
ZAKIOKA SAUNA
"ZAKIOKA SAUNA" is a unisex sauna, which is rare in Japan. It offers indoor clothing that can be worn in the sauna, cold bath, and rest area, providing a place where people can connect through sauna and conversation. Enjoy a luxurious moment of relaxation at this outdoor sauna facility, surrounded by the nature and beautiful waters of the Nukata area of Okazaki City, Aichi, famous for its excellent spring waters.
ホテルサンバレー那須
This hot spring resort is dotted with nine accommodations, each with its own unique atmosphere, across the vast grounds of the Nasu Highlands. Boasting a variety of hot springs surrounded by nature, it offers a hot spring zone called "Yuyu Tengoku," where day-trip bathing is allowed. There are 18 types of outdoor hot spring pools in the summer, cave baths, power baths, and more, offering fun activities for both children and adults. The recommended dining option is the buffet, which showcases three types of seasonal ingredients: Japanese, Western, and Chinese. The chef’s carefully crafted cuisine offers exquisite flavors. 島ヶ原温泉 やぶっちゃの湯
"Shimagahara Onsen Yabucha no Yu" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. In addition to a bath with natural hot spring water rich in minerals, an open-air panoramic bath overlooking the countryside, and a large bath that is known for leaving your skin smooth, there is also a sauna, a reclining bath, and more. There is also a free rest area and a souvenir shop with Iga's specialty products. In addition to the hot springs, there is a campsite with sites with power outlets that even beginners can enjoy, where you can relax while feeling the rich nature of the Kizugawa River. There are also plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy, such as putt-putt golf and battery cars. Don't miss the restaurants that use local ingredients.
湯や 晴ル音
"Yuya Harune" stands in a corner of Yuno Onsen in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. They have three types of hot spring facilities: private hot springs, saunas, and large communal baths. The theme of the private hot spring is Yakushi Nyorai. "Tsubotsubo" is an open space where you can also take a bath in the outside air, with a bathtub shaped like the medicinal pot held by the Yakushi Nyorai in his left hand. In addition, the word "koukou," which represents a shining white light, is an image of the moonlight bodhisattva standing next to Yakushi Nyorai, and you can enjoy the feeling of bathing in dim moonlight even during the day. The public bath has been renovated while retaining the form of Yunoso, which closed in 2022, so fans of the old days will feel nostalgic.
ポルダー潟の湯
"Polder Kata no Yu" is famous for its skin-beautifying properties. This hot spring originates from a layer of seawater that is approximately 5 million years old, offering two different temperatures for you to enjoy. The facility offers various amenities, featuring a sauna and a reclining bath, and is easily accessible with barrier-free access and reasonable prices. There is an on-site restaurant, and with many tourist attractions nearby, it's a perfect stop on your journey. Shuttle buses for groups and banquet courses are also available.
KARUIZAWA CAMP GOLD
Located in Karuizawa, Nagano, "KARUIZAWA CAMP GOLD" offers both glamping and auto camping experiences with a perfect balance of convenience and natural beauty. With easy car access to nearby supermarkets, farm stands, and tourist farms, it’s an ideal base for both camping and exploring the area. A day-trip hot spring facility inside Morinoyu Hotel Hanakagura. There is an open-air bath with a view where you can enjoy the majestic view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range on sunny days and a starry sky at night, and the large public bath is equipped with carbonated spring, low-temperature and high-temperature baths, a sauna, and a cold bath. It is well-equipped with a rest room and is popular for its open space where you can relax. It's easily accessible from Asahikawa City Asahiyama Zoo, so it's a great place to stop by after sightseeing.
熊ノ沢温泉
Located approximately a 5-minute drive from JR Hachinohe Station, this day-use hot spring facility is easily accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen. The natural Koki-no-Yu spring water, drawn from a depth of around 800 metres, flows freely at 100% capacity. The seasonal scenery viewed from the open-air bath offers a particularly special experience. The spring water, known as a “bijin-no-yu” (beautiful skin bath), is rich in botanical extracts and natural moisturising components, gently warming the body to the core in a short time. A wide variety of bathing options are available, including an artificial carbonated spring bath, a low-frequency electric bath, the Be-Skin Bath (women’s area only) with ultra-fine microbubbles, and a sauna. After bathing, unwind at "Momidokoro Hogushiya", a massage corner within the facility. Locally grown, carefully selected vegetables are also available for purchase.
道頓堀サウナ
Located about a 4-minute walk from Kintetsu Nippombashi Station, Dotonbori Sauna is a fully private rooftop sauna limited to one group per floor. Panoramic views of Osaka’s Minami district and the Dotonbori River unfold through the wide glass panels of the self-loyly barrel sauna, creating an open and immersive setting above the city. A multi-purpose spa located in Obama Town, Iwaki City, Fukushima, offering a variety of baths including an open-air bath that reflects the changing seasons, a herbal bath, a tourmaline bath, and high-concentration carbonated springs. The facility also features services such as an authentic loyly sauna, stone spa, and body scrubbing, along with a dining area and relaxation spaces. Known as a bath resort where families spend an entire day, the complex also accommodates group and business use. Lodging facilities are available, supporting a wide range of uses including training camps, workshops, and banquets.
LandEdge
"LandEdge," located in Hamanaka Town in eastern Hokkaido, offers an immersive outdoor setting rich in nature. Under the guidance of experienced guides, activities include canoeing and kayaking, wildlife and nature observation tours, fir tree distillation experiences, and a tent sauna using extracted essential oils. The facility also breeds and raises riding horses, offering tours with opportunities for interaction.

At "Ho-hokekyo", an entire traditional Japanese house can be reserved, with pets welcome to stay together. Facilities include a sauna, a barbecue, and a spacious dining kitchen fully equipped with a wide range of cooking utensils. Located in Kitahiroshima Town and surrounded by the lush nature of the Geihoku area in Hiroshima Prefecture, this natural hot spring facility with 15 private day-use rooms opened in April 2025. Just a five-minute drive from Chiyoda Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, it welcomes drivers and motorcyclists looking to ease the fatigue of a long journey. Room types include "Standard" and "Semi-Premium," each with indoor and open-air baths and a combined changing and rest area, as well as "Premium," which adds a sauna, cold bath, and massage chair. The private setting allows couples, families, and friends to relax while soaking in mineral-rich cloudy water, abundant in iron and gentle on the skin.
スパリゾート雄琴あがりゃんせ
This day-trip hot spring facility on the shores of Lake Biwa features hot springs from two private sources. Guests can enjoy an indoor bath, a spacious open-air bath with Shigaraki-ware pot baths, a bedrock bath, a sauna, and a footbath. The deep-water bath is also a popular highlight. "Roadside Station Hotaru Kaido Nishinoichi" is located in Toyota Town, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, a naturally rich area famous for its fireflies. The station building, designed to resemble a traditional farming village, showcases a real steam locomotive, drawing visitors from across Japan. The station offers day trips to Nishinoichi "Hotaru no Yu" hot spring, a shop selling locally grown vegetables and processed game products, souvenirs, and a Japanese restaurant.
Tonttu Hijima
"Tonttu Hijima", located in the mountains of Shiso City, Hyogo, is a renovated former kindergarten transformed into an all-weather camping facility. Here, guests can enjoy camping experiences both outdoors and indoors, even in inclement weather. The playground and former classroom areas are completely covered with artificial turf, providing a comfortable environment. Additionally, the tent sauna under the starry sky is a highlight that promises a memorable experience.
Sparkle
Located within Ugakei Campground in the Hokusei region of Mie Prefecture, this private cottage with a tent sauna is available for exclusive use. 天然温泉かきつばた
Located within the Kariya Highway Oasis on the Isewangan Expressway, "Natural Hot Spring Kakitsubata" features a wide variety of bathing options, including open-air baths with free-flowing hot spring water, a mildly carbonated bath at a low temperature, electric massage baths, esthetic baths, and soothing tubs. The facility also offers saunas and a stone sauna (ganbanyoku). The natural hot spring water, drawn from approximately 1,200 meters underground, is a mildly alkaline chloride spring known for its excellent properties - it absorbs easily into the skin, helps retain body warmth after bathing, and is effective for dry skin and sensitivity to cold. With a range of relaxation spaces, the facility provides a comfortable experience for solo visitors and families alike, making it easy to spend a full day in comfort.
有馬街道温泉すずらんの湯
Located a 15-minute walk from Kita-Suzurandai Station on the Kobe Electric Railway, this hot spring offers a garden open-air bath where you can enjoy the four seasons on a day trip. The two types of spring water they boast are natural hot spring water that springs from about 1,100 meters underground, and "Miyamizu", which is rich in minerals and is essential for the sake brewing of "Nada", and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. After relaxing in the hot spring, you can also enjoy creative cuisine, including a kaiseki banquet.

サウナコタンサッポロ
"Sauna Cotan Sapporo" is located approximately a 6-minute drive from the "Daiwa House Premist Dome" in Toyohira Ward, Sapporo. Its name combines the Finnish word kota, meaning "Hut," and the Ainu word kotan, meaning "Village." This auto-loyly sauna is supervised by a board member of the Japan Sauna Society. The men’s sauna features brick walls reminiscent of a Scandinavian sauna hut, while the women’s sauna has benches encircling a stove, evoking the feeling of a bonfire in a Finnish forest. Both settings recreate the atmosphere of Northern Europe. しおはまの湯 四国健康村
"Shiohama no Yu Shikoku Kenko Mura," located approximately a 10-minute drive from the Sakaide IC on the Seto-Chuo Expressway, is a bathing facility where baths, saunas, and dining create a setting for spending time throughout the day. The men’s and women’s bathing areas each feature a variety of baths, and the women’s bath includes a newly established dedicated "Löyly Sauna," where self löyly—uncommon in Kagawa—and daily aufguss sessions that fan steam to create waves of heat take place. Inside the facility, popular theater performances are presented, while the restaurant offers local Kagawa specialties along with a wide selection of drinks. The popular "Shikoku Aquarium" is approximately a 7-minute walk from the facility, and there are many nearby sightseeing spots.

Known as "Hot springs for beautiful skin" due to their excellent heat retention and skin-enhancing properties, the facility offers 11 types of baths, including an open-air bath, as well as a sauna, ensuring a peaceful environment to unwind.
