The "Nihondaira Ropeway" stretches for approximately 1,065 metres, connecting the summit of Nihondaira, a scenic spot designated as a prefectural natural park in Shizuoka Prefecture, with Mt. Kuno, home to the national treasure "Kunozan Toshogu Shrine." From the gondolas, the sheer cliffs of "Byobudani," Suruga Bay, Omaezaki, and the Izu Peninsula can be seen. The changing seasons provide beautiful scenery, with the fresh greenery of spring and the colourful leaves of autumn among the highlights. From Nihondaira, the panoramic view is equally stunning.
