A new place of relaxation in the historic Yuno Onsen

"Yuya Harune" stands in a corner of Yuno Onsen in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. They have three types of hot spring facilities: private hot springs, saunas, and large communal baths. The theme of the private hot spring is Yakushi Nyorai. "Tsubotsubo" is an open space where you can also take a bath in the outside air, with a bathtub shaped like the medicinal pot held by the Yakushi Nyorai in his left hand. In addition, the word "koukou," which represents a shining white light, is an image of the moonlight bodhisattva standing next to Yakushi Nyorai, and you can enjoy the feeling of bathing in dim moonlight even during the day. The public bath has been renovated while retaining the form of Yunoso, which closed in 2022, so fans of the old days will feel nostalgic.

Radium hot spring/alkaline sulfur hot spring water

A hot spring facility that was renovated and opened in April 2024 as a new tourist base at Yunoso, a national lodging house that once flourished as the "inner parlor of Shunan City." The thick hot water is popular because it contains ingredients from both radium hot springs, which have health-promoting effects, and alkaline sulfur hot springs, which have skin-beautifying effects.

Sauna with customizable temperature and aroma

The popular sauna "Sansan" is a comfortable space filled with light. After using the sauna, you can also use the public bath. Amenities include face towels, bath towels, and a 4-piece face care set (for women only). Up to 4 people per group can reserve the space, and there is also a "small group plan."

A soothing footbath cafe that makes use of ingredients from Yamaguchi.

At Cafe Harune, you can also use the footbath on the terrace. We recommend the shaved ice topped with fruit sauce from Yamaguchi Prefecture. Once the shaved ice is served in a mug-shaped container, you can drink it like milk tea or cocoa after it melts, making it a fun idea to enjoy two flavors at once.
