"Water Omikuji" Revealing Fortunes as the Paper Grows Wet
Once a year, during the "Spring Grand Festival," the "Kamiura Festival" inspires the offering of "Mizu Mikuji" in front of "Ryujin-gu," located beside Ryujin Pond. When the fortune slip is dipped into the sacred water flowing from the dragon’s mouth, the text appears, allowing fortunes to be read for health, work, studies, relationships, matchmaking, competition, and financial luck.

Seasonal Goshuin and Shrine Amulets Available
Distinctive shrine amulets and votive items inspired by Takayama Inari Shrine include the seasonal "Summer Kirie Goshuin" featuring layered imagery of the Senbon Torii and hydrangeas, the delicate lace-accented "Shiki Mamori" charms, and vivid vermilion "Torii Ema" plaques. Special amulets commemorating the Year of the Horse, a zodiac year closely connected to the Inari deity, are also available.

Rest Area for a Quiet, Refreshing Break
As an unusual shrine, the "Senbon Torii" can be viewed from above, and many visitors climb to "Shinmeigu Shrine" to take in the sweeping view. A rest area beside the shrine office offers a place to pause and light refreshments. The specialty "Takayama Manju," generously filled with sweet bean paste, offers a gentle sweetness from brown sugar and a simple, traditional flavor.
