Hearty curry served as a one-plate meal

House-Made "Keema Curry" Fragrant with Six or More Spices

This house-made spice curry is prepared entirely from scratch at the restaurant, with close attention to every step. A custom blend of several spices and onions slowly sautéed over time give the curry its richness and depth of flavor. The enticing aroma of the spices whets the appetite, while a warming heat gradually spreads with each bite. Also a favorite among the staff, the curry packs a serious kick and is best suited to adults who enjoy spicy food. Those who are sensitive to spice, as well as elementary school-aged children, may find it very hot. Be sure to try this authentic curry, made with thorough preparation and a carefully developed blend of spices.

  • Spice Curry with Layers of Flavor from a Variety of Spices

The restaurant takes pride in its house-made curry, prepared with a custom blend of more than 16 carefully selected spices, including cardamom, cumin seeds, cinnamon, kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves), and dried citrus peel. Slowly sautéed to develop its flavor, the curry offers a rich spice aroma and a pronounced heat, giving it a bold, grown-up flavor.

  • A Colorful One-Plate Meal with House-Made Sides and Salad

Every food item comes as a nutritious, colorful plate with a small side dish and salad. Everything is made from scratch, with no store-bought prepared foods, including potato salad made with seasonal potatoes and carrot râpée made with fresh carrots. The side dishes are so popular that customers often wish they could have seconds.

Glistening chicken and a colorful plate

"Harajuku Chicken Rice"

This chicken dish is so popular that nearly everyone who visits the restaurant orders it. The chicken is slowly cooked until golden brown, then gently simmered in white wine, leaving it fragrant on the outside and tender and juicy inside. An original house-made sauce made with butter, soy sauce, fish sauce, and other ingredients coats the chicken, adding a rich, savory flavor that whets the appetite. It pairs beautifully with rice, and the hearty portion makes it all the more satisfying. Toppings such as a fried egg or an onsen egg (soft-cooked egg) let customers customize the dish to their liking.

Must-try signature dish

  • "Premium Matcha Latte"

This matcha latte is made with domestically produced matcha powder sourced from Kyoto and selected high-quality milk. The milk's natural flavor is brought forward, with particular attention also given to the honey. One of the most popular drinks on the menu, it is available both iced and hot.

  • "House-Made Lemonade"

Made by slowly steeping lemons in sanonto (Japanese light brown sugar), this lemonade combines refreshing tartness with the flavors of four spices: cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, and ginger. Enjoyable for adults and children alike, it can be served either iced or hot.

Restaurant highlights

  • Homemade cheesecake combining premium matcha and cream

Rich Cheesecake Made for Matcha Lovers

This house-made cheesecake brings together matcha, now popular around the world, and the richness of cheese. From the first bite, premium Japanese matcha fills the palate with its rich aroma, umami, and sweetness, complemented by a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The owner takes particular pride in this creation and encourages matcha lovers to give it a try.

  • "Cafe Latte" with beautiful contrast

Coffee That Starts with the Beans

Coffee receives just as much attention. After visiting coffee shops across Japan, the owner selected beans and a roast level to suit their personal taste. The beans are roasted to order and used within a week of roasting, ensuring freshness. A Swiss-made coffee machine also delivers consistently high-quality coffee, no matter when you visit.

A message from the owner

I wanted to create a place where people could take their time, surrounded by things they love and enjoying their favorite food. That's how this café came to be. My daughter took care of the interior and the wall of books, while I handle the cooking and our staff bring their own special touches to the desserts. Just like adding favorite books to a shelf one by one, we've brought together the things each of us "loves" to create this café. I hope everyone who spends time here discovers something new to "love" as well.
