Enjoy Freshly Cooked and Hand-Shaped Comfort Food
"Ohana, Omusubi Chaya" serves freshly made rice balls made to order and ohagi made with ingredients from Hokkaido. The rice balls are made with "Nanatsuboshi" rice from Takikawa City, Hokkaido, and there are always about 15 varieties available, ranging from classics like "salt", "Ume (salted plum)", and "salmon" to Hokkaido-inspired fillings such as "mountain wasabi". Guests can choose between fragrant roasted nori or fresh nori with a delicate seaweed aroma. The ohagi, made with azuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, are mildly sweet, palm-sized, and charming in appearance, making them perfect as a thoughtful gift.

An Evolved Ohagi Delight for Both the Eyes and the Palate
Ohagi make excellent souvenirs, as their bean paste is kneaded longer to reduce moisture, giving them a longer shelf life and ensuring they remain delicious even the next day. The colorful bean paste is shaped into rose-like petals or piped into a Mont Blanc style, making them popular not only for their flavor but also for their beautiful presentation.

Freshly Made Rice Balls Served in a Modern Setting
With its stylish chandeliers and elegantly toned sofas and tables, the interior offers a refined, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing break. Here, you can savor freshly made rice balls and ohagi - each carefully handcrafted every morning - in a serene setting, enjoying them at your own leisurely pace.
