Savor Kagawa’s Signature Dishes From the Sea and the Land
This directly managed liquor store, which opened in June 2025, is located near Kotohira Station on the Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad. It is also conveniently situated near the entrance to the Konpira pilgrimage and Konpira Onsen, making it a popular choice for tourists. Guests can savor a wide variety of drinks, seafood dishes using fresh catch from the Seto Inland Sea, Kagawa's specialty "bone-in chicken," and locally brewed sake from Kotohira. The spacious interior, with a capacity for about 120 guests, features sunken kotatsu seating, table seating, and a counter, catering to different needs such as banquets.
Seafood Bowl Brimming with Seto Inland Sea Catch
This seafood bowl is made with fresh fish caught in the Seto Inland Sea, which is blessed with an abundance of seafood throughout the year. Because it is delivered directly from the market, it is reasonably priced despite being quite filling. It's perfect as a meal to fill your stomach before or after climbing the long staircase to "Kotoshira Gu."
Oven-Roasted "Honetsukidori" with Crisp Skin
"Honetsukidori", beloved by locals, is a must-try specialty for tourists visiting Kagawa Prefecture. Choose from two types of bone-in chicken: mature chicken, which becomes more flavourful the more you chew it, and tender young chicken with plump, juicy meat. Both are oven-roasted and lightly seasoned, and are the perfect complement to alcohol.
