A Fermented Food Cafe with a Heartwarming Touch, Run by a Loving Couple
Located in Kisoshita, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, "Fukufuku" is a caring cafe that serves dishes made with fermented foods and home-grown vegetables. The cafe was opened in a renovated villa to "make people aware of the importance of food and to let them know more about the benefits of koji." Reservations are recommended for the lunch, which is limited to 10 meals.

"Hana Chirashi Gozen" as Dazzling as a Flower in Full Bloom
"The main dish, "Hana Chirashi Gozen," is limited to 10 servings per day and is as beautiful as flowers in full bloom. On top of sushi rice cooked with beets, fermented ingredients, salt-pickled sea bream, and pickled tomatoes (made using the traditional rice bran pickling method, known as 'nukazuke') are arranged gorgeously. As numbers are limited, making a reservation for lunch is recommended."

"Painting Seat" - Framing the Beauty of Each Season
From the counter seats, referred to as the 'Painting Seat,' you can enjoy a panoramic view of Awaji Island's abundant nature across the four seasons. Relax while admiring the seasonal flowers and the birds that visit. This is a special cafe that is perfect for both solo visits and for sharing with dear friends.
