A Long-Established Restaurant Serving a Variety of Inari Sushi
"Matsuya" is a long-established Japanese restaurant that was founded in 1935 in front of the main gate of Toyokawa Inari Shrine and is currently run by the fourth generation. The creative inari sushi, painstakingly made by the chefs, is a masterpiece that is made with great attention to the ingredients and texture, and there is a wide variety of original menu items, including "Yuzu", "Gomoku (mixed)", "Gindara Saikyoyaki" (grilled cod with sweet Kyoto miso), and "Fruit". With a focus on local production for local consumption, the restaurant offers seasonal Japanese dishes such as kishimen noodles and sukiyaki, prepared with generous use of Mikawa-grown ingredients for a truly memorable taste. The relaxing space, with its elaborate Japanese atmosphere, can accommodate up to 50 people and is suitable for a variety of occasions. It’s also nice that there’s a variety of items offered exclusively for strolling and snacking.

Try Making Your Own Creative Inari Sushi
There are two types of courses available for "Sosaku Inarizushi Taiken (creative inari sushi experience)". "Standard Course" allows you to choose from 11 types of ingredients, and "Premium Course" allows you to choose from 26 types of ingredients. You can also enjoy it as a set menu that comes with miso soup and dessert. The experience is available for those aged five and above, so parents and children can participate together.
