A Gallery and Cafe That Brings Together Art From Shodoshima
Shodoshima, one of the venues for the contemporary art festival "Setouchi Triennale," is a unique island dotted with artworks and galleries. "Fine Port Gallery" is a gallery with a cafe located near the popular tourist spot "Angel Road." The building was once a seaweed warehouse, and has been renovated to provide a space where anyone can casually enjoy art through exhibitions and events by local artists. Freshly squeezed drinks made with seasonal fruits are a popular choice at the café. Guests can savour the bounty of Shodoshima while enjoying art, creating a spiritually enriching and relaxing moment.

The exhibits are renewed every three months, showcasing the works of artists based on Shodoshima. Many of the pieces reflect the island’s scenery and culture, inspiring both curiosity and imagination. The lemon squash, made with organic lemons from Shodoshima, is a must-try signature drink. It offers the mellow acidity and rich flavour unique to the island’s lemons.
