This izakaya is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from Tobu Railway's Iwatsuki Station, and serves dishes that will have you gobbling down. They stock a variety of fresh ingredients, including fresh fish purchased directly from the market, seasonal vegetables sourced from local producers in the Iwatsuki area of Saitama City, and vegetables grown in the owner's own garden, who is also a graduate of Tokyo University of Agriculture. Their signature dish, "huge daikon oden platter," is slow-cooked to allow the flavor to soak in, and is a striking sight, with a towering daikon measuring over 20cm on the plate. Other recommended dishes include "flame-grilled mackerel," which is grilled right in front of you, and "wagyu offal stew," perfect with a drink.
