A Sweet Shop with over 100 Years of History in the Hot Spring Town
This long-established Japanese sweets shop was founded in 1926 in Shiobara Onsenkyo, Tochigi Prefecture. The shop offers Japanese sweets such as "Kurumi Monaka" and "Onsen Manju," which are long loved for their specially made sweet bean paste. There is a cafe with a beautiful view of the valley, where you can enjoy handmade bread made with homemade hops and natural yeast.

Enjoy Shiobara Onsen’s Specialty Japanese Sweets
"Eitaro's" signature products, "Kurumi (walnut) monaka" and "hot spring manju", are the culmination of the techniques that the founder Sueyoshi learned at a famous shop in Tokyo when the company was founded. They are specialties of Shiobara Onsen. Walnuts are stuffed into the slightly salty white bean paste, and the refreshing taste with a subtle sweetness makes them a great souvenir.

Unwind at a Cafe While Enjoying the Seasonal Views
There is a cafe on the second floor, where you can enjoy local delicacies such as "Toteyaki", handmade sweets such as "Shiratama Cream Anmitsu", homemade bread toast, and "Shimotsu Curry Udon" for lunch. The Hoki River flows in front of you, so you can take a break while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the valley that changes with the seasons.
