A Cafe that Invites You into the World of Wild, Medicinal, and Aromatic Herbs
Located approximately ten minutes by car from Takasagi Interchange on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, this cafe is surrounded by forests and plants and is located in the Sunshine Royal Garden villa area. The square log house, a "Timber Frame" made from thick solid wood, was handcrafted by the owner's father, who has built log houses in various places. On the first floor, you can enjoy breakfast using local seasonal vegetables, wild plants, and aromatic herbs, as well as a lunch menu with a weekly changing pasta menu, and healthy menus such as herbal tea made with aromatic and medicinal herbs. The open-ceilinged second floor has a library, with books on plants from Japan and abroad, and specimens of plants from within and outside Gujo City, Gifu.

A Majestic Square Log House Surrounded by Forest and Trees
Once you step inside the timber-frame log house, which incorporates the rare "Amish" architectural style in Japan, you can experience a living environment where time flows slowly. On sunny days, you can enjoy herbal tea on the garden terrace surrounded by the forest and plants.

A Healing Space in the Forest, Sparked by a Passion for Plant Knowledge
On the cafe's second floor, there is a library called "Tokimeki Library" with a collection of books on wild plants from Japan and abroad, and a reading space as a place of learning. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a perfect environment to quietly enjoy reading in the forest.
