A Traditional Sweet Shop with Japan's Best Beans and Teas
This sweet shop with an attached shop is conveniently located approximately a four-minute walk from Susukino Station and Odori Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway. You can enjoy the pairing of Japanese sweets made from local beans, a culturally rare species that have been grown by generations of farmers in Hokkaido, with carefully selected Shizuoka tea. The "fried kintsuba" is made by placing plump cooked beans on top of a slightly sweet bean paste, with more beans hidden within the bean paste. The coating, which resembles powdered snow, is made from 'Koori mochi' (ice-flour mochi) and deep-fried. With just one bite, the crunchy texture will become addictive. It is also available for takeout or online purchase, making it a great souvenir or mail order item.

Premium Shizuoka Tea That Complements Hokkaido Beans
To ensure a gentle and mellow flavor on the palate, the shop uses a tea kettle and an iron pot to boil water. Enjoy the steam rising from the tea kettle, the rich aroma of freshly brewed Shizuoka tea, and the blissful taste of Japanese sweets made with plenty of beans from Hokkaido.

A Seasonal Afternoon Tea with a Japanese Twist
A must-try "Afternoon Tea Set", featuring seasonal savory dishes paired with tea, mainly Shizuoka tea, which complements Japanese bean sweets perfectly. Limited menu items such as "Bean Quiche", "Gyokuro Tea Leaves Ohitashi (blanched tea leaves)", and "Matcha Rice" are also available. Reservations by phone are required at least three days in advance.
