Unwind in a Historic Space, Away from the Everyday
Located about a 5-minute walk from Miidera Station on the Keihan Electric Railway, "〇Bi WABI Cafe&Gallery" occupies a beautifully preserved Registered Tangible Cultural Property. Driven by the owner’s passion "to preserve the essence of Japan’s original landscapes", this historic building has been transformed into a multi-purpose space—welcoming guests as a café, gallery, and lodging facility, offering visitors a unique and authentic cultural experience.

"Mushi yashinai (insect care)" - Pay Attention to the Containers Used for Serving Food
"Mushi yashinai (insect care)" is a Kyoto dialect term meaning "light food to satisfy one's hunger" (literally "to feed one's stomach insects"). You'll want to enjoy the dishes made with seasonal ingredients and served in precious dishware with all your senses. The menu offered for lunch and dinner changes every month and includes main dishes, salads with homemade dressing, and seasoned rice.

A Multipurpose Space Where You Can Also Experience the Tea Ceremony
The building, which is about 100 years old, is a space that can be used for events such as a cafe, gallery, tea ceremony classes, etc., but the building, including the cafe, can only be used by reservation. It is a hideaway-like space where you can spend some relaxing time.
