A Thoughtful Moment Enjoying Obanzai in Hakata
Located approximately 11 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Hirao Station, this obanzai and creative cuisine restaurant is in a residential neighborhood. Centered on Japanese cuisine, the menu features handmade dishes prepared by the proprietress, including simmered offal, oden, oyakodon made with branded eggs, and Hakata specialties such as "Goma Saba," "Goma Kanpachi," and "Goma Tai." The popular "Today’s Obanzai Set," served daily, presents six colorful small dishes. In addition to course meals and à la carte options, the drink selection includes shochu, wine, carefully chosen sake, and seasonal varieties not listed on the menu. The restaurant is also available for private reservations, subject to availability and arranged the day before.
Flavorful Courses and Small Plates Made for Sipping
The restaurant offers carefully prepared course meals and à la carte dishes using ingredients from Kyushu, including local fish delivered directly from Nagahama Fishing Port and "Hanamidori" chicken from Fukuoka City. The drink menu is also extensive, with "Premium Malt's Master's Dream" and other carefully selected sake from all over Japan.
Hidden-Away Retreat with a Private, Unhurried Feel
The interior features white walls and warm lighting, creating a comfortable atmosphere. A wooden counter with 10 seats surrounds the proprietress, along with six table seats, accommodating a variety of occasions from individual visits to group gatherings. Private use is available by reservation for up to 16 diners.
