Seasonal Japanese Cuisine That Captures the Beauty of Nature
Enjoy creative Japanese cuisine while gazing out at the serene Japanese garden of the Mizuno Museum in Nagano City. The restaurant offers a variety of kaiseki courses and set meals featuring the finest local ingredients from Shinshu. Highlights include the elegant two-tiered “MIZUNO Gozen (set meal)" and “Shun no Nigiri Sushi Soba Gozen," which lets you enjoy both fresh sushi and Shinshu soba. A selection of seasonal specialties is also available throughout the year. In spring, the “Sakura Gozen" celebrates the blooming weeping cherry blossoms in the garden. During autumn, the “Momiji Gozen" features a main dish of Shinshu wagyu beef steak marinated in miso. In winter, the monthly-changing “Nabe Gozen" offers hot pots made with locally sourced chicken, beef, and pork.

A Culinary Experience Within the Mizuno Museum
After taking in the exhibition at your leisure, make your way to "Shikisai Mizuno". A full sensory experience awaits with beautifully prepared kaiseki and gozen dishes featuring premium local ingredients like "Shinshu beef" and "Shinshu salmon". Kaiseki courses are also offered during lunchtime, though advance reservations are required.

The Changing Beauty of the Four Seasons, Lit by Sunlight and Moonlight
Facing the Japanese garden of the Mizuno Museum, the restaurant offers an elegant setting to appreciate the beauty of each season—cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant foliage in autumn, and a snow-covered landscape in winter. Dinner is served only on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., creating the perfect opportunity to enjoy drinks while taking in the serene, moonlit garden.
