"Cafe & Shop Seed" is located about a 3-minute walk from Nishi 18-chome Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway. Here, you can enjoy home-roasted coffee alongside meals such as the popular “Tandoori Chicken" made with Hokkaido chicken, as well as sweets crafted with carefully selected ingredients. The café also operates a job support facility, and the coffee beans roasted there feature a mild acidity and clean flavor. They are carefully prepared to pair well with meals, with minimal bitterness for a smooth taste. Depending on the season, vegetables grown on the café’s own farm using the Kimura Akinori Natural Farming Method are used in the dishes. These vegetables are also available for purchase in the shop.
Enjoy Delicate Sweets Featuring Rice Flour and Handmade Jams
Popular desserts include chiffon cake made with 100% Hokkaido wheat flour and olive oil imported from Greece, as well as cheesecake topped with ground cherry jam made from fruit grown on the farm. The menu also features gluten-free chocolate gateau made with rice flour and other sweets crafted with carefully selected ingredients.
Nutritious and Gentle Ingredients Sold Onsite
The in-store “Ethical Market” offers fresh produce grown on the farm owned and operated by the shop. Their eggs are especially popular, with many repeat customers. The shop also produces its own honey through in-house beekeeping, and their original honey is available for purchase. In addition, extra virgin olive oil imported from Greece is a customer favorite.
