A Beloved Neighborhood Diner with a Rich History
Located in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, this traditional Japanese eatery has been cherished by locals for generations. It even predates the nearby Shinshu Takada school’s head temple, Senshu-ji, which was established in 1465. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and generous portions, it remains a go-to spot for residents. Ingredients are carefully selected—meat is sourced daily from a trusted butcher, and the thickener used is Yoshino kudzu. The broth is made from scratch using bonito, kelp, and other natural ingredients—never anything frozen. Their signature dish, the beef-loaded "Curry Udon," is rich, mellow, and highly praised.
