A 70-Year-Old Bakery Loved by Ishikawa Residents
A long-established bakery located approximately 6 minutes walk from JR Komatsu Station. We have a selection of nostalgic breads and Western sweets, and our signature product, "White Sand," has a retro-looking package, cream, and bread just like when it first went on sale. For many years, it has been loved as a soul food in Komatsu City, Ishikawa . Other popular items include "Sand Bread", "Brain Bread", and "Pom Pom Purin Bread" made in collaboration with popular characters. The "Jiwamon bread" made with local ingredients, including six-rowed barley from Komatsu City, is also popular. We also carry cakes and baked goods, so we recommend buying them as souvenirs or enjoying them as a dine-in.
A Warm and Inviting Space After Renovation
Renovated in March 2024 with the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the interior features an eat-in space, free Wi-Fi, and electrical outlets, allowing guests to enjoy coffee and cream soda along with bread and cake. With the right timing, the Shinkansen may be visible from the counter seats.
Cute "Pom Pom Purin Bread"
"Pom Pom Purin Bread" made in collaboration with popular characters is popular. The inside is filled with custard cream, and is on sale in limited quantities at the main store in front of the station and the Shimada store. Each one is handmade, so there are individual differences, but they look even cuter when lined up, so if you get a few, be sure to line them up.
