Pasta and Chinese Cuisine in a Traditional Japanese House in the Castle Town
At Pasta and Whimsical Cuisine Ichiwa, you can enjoy dishes made with Ibonoito pasta, a specialty of Hyogo Prefecture. The restaurant, which is located in an old house that is over 100 years old and has been renovated only with interior work, retains the atmosphere of a castle town. You can enjoy the autumn leaves and camellias decorating the courtyard while experiencing the changing seasons during your meal. The Italian and Chinese courses use meat and vegetables sourced from Hyogo Prefecture as much as possible, following the principle of "local production for local consumption." The restaurant also offers a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, making it a great place for parties. Additionally, gluten-free sweets, created by the owner who is a certified nutritionist, are available irregularly.

Tasting Delicate Pasta Crafted from Ibonoito Somen
"Ibonoito" is famous in Tatsuno City, the owner's hometown. The pasta is made with precious noodles from a famous somen manufacturer that are only produced in June and September each year, and has a distinctive texture that is unique to the hand-stretched method. The noodles are thin but elastic, and you can enjoy a different texture to regular pasta.

Authentic Dinner Prepared by a Former Chinese Chef
The evening menu, prepared by a chef well versed in Chinese cuisine, includes a Chinese course that includes Shanghai-style fried noodles. You can also enjoy rare noodle dishes such as "ramen-style pasta" seasoned with pasta sauce. Enjoy the chef's authentic Chinese cuisine to your heart's content.
