Enjoy Our Signature Salty Oden and Delicious Sake
Odenyama - san is located in Hyakubangai, a shopping mall directly connected to Kanazawa Station. Established in 1953, it has a long history and is known for its salty soup stock, which is so light and delicious that you can drink it all down, which is rare even in the local area. Fish dishes and offal stews are also popular.
You can taste rare salty oden in Kanazawa
Since its founding, this restaurant has specialized in Kanazawa's rare salty oden. Made with a broth rich in dried sardines and enhanced by the third-generation owner's refinements, the oden features over 20 ingredients, attracting repeat customers from across Japan.
Savor Exclusive Sake Collaborations With Local Breweries
We have a wide variety of local sake that goes well with oden, and we especially recommend Onnagawa, a Junmai Ginjo sake that is said to be the only one available around Kanazawa Station. This limited edition sake is a collaboration between Kobori Sake Brewery, a local Kanazawa brewery, and Omote Saketen, which has been selling alcoholic beverages in Kanazawa since the Taisho era. The slightly sweet taste is also popular with women.
