This long-established restaurant was founded in 1897. It started out as an Omi beef butcher shop in front of the old city hall in Otsu City and also had an attached restaurant where customers could enjoy Omi beef. The restaurant later closed the butcher shop and focused on the restaurant, and even now, in its fourth generation, cit ontinues to serve dishes that can only be found at an Omi beef specialty restaurant. The best parts of the restaurant's pride and joy, the fillet and loin, are exquisite, having been aged to bring out the maximum flavor. There is also a wide selection of wines carefully selected by the owner, who is a senior sommelier certified by the Japan Sommelier Association. The restaurant has an elegant, Japanese atmosphere. There is also a room with a view of the garden, allowing you to dine at your leisure.

This popular dish is made by cooking specially selected Omi beef loin with only white sugar and soy sauce. Made with carefully selected Omi beef loin, the meat has fine marbling and is extremely tender.
