JMSDF Kure Museum (Tetsu no Kujira)
The museum is one of Japan's leading museums, located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kure Station. The highlight is the real submarine "Akishio" used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, exhibited outdoors. You can explore the inside and enjoy the view of Kure Bay through a periscope in the command center. The museum also features various exhibits on minesweeping activities and submarines, along with a shop selling JMSDF goods and a café.

"Roadside Station Takehara" is located approximately an 8-minute walk from JR Takehara Station, in a town overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and filled with traditional atmosphere.The "Specialty and Direct-from-the-Farm" corner offers a wide selection of freshly picked local vegetables and fruits, along with a variety of specialty products from Takehara. The "Tourist Information" corner is also well-stocked with souvenirs, including local sake and bamboo crafts.
