奥道後 壱湯の守
A hot spring inn located on the vast grounds of Okudogo Onsen, which spreads out at the foot of the mountain. "Suimei no Yu," one of the largest open-air baths in western Japan, has a site area of 1,508m² and features seven types of hot water, allowing you to enjoy the free-flowing waters of Oku Dogo Onsen, which have a beautifying effect on your skin. Meals are served buffet-style, featuring a variety of menus crafted with ingredients from Ehime Prefecture. "Sangenjaya," set within a Japanese garden, presents kaiseki cuisine featuring premium ingredients such as seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and "Iyo beef," a renowned branded meat from Ehime. Around the inn, seasonal flowers create a vibrant landscape, and strolling in a yukata offers a charming way to take in the atmosphere of this historic hot spring area.
HOTEL LEPO CHAHAL
This hotel is located on the 7th and 8th floors of Matsuyama Mitsukoshi, about a 1-minute walk from the Iyo Railway Okaido stop. The hotel name "LEPO" means "rest" in Finnish, and the hotel offers a place to make everyday life special. There are three types of guest rooms, all of which are spacious and approximately 60 square meters in size and each comes with a Finnish sauna. Carpets and furniture are custom-made and decorated in earth tones. Additionally, art pieces by textile designer and potter Fujio Ishimoto add color.
