温泉山荘 だいこんの花
This is a 18-room detached house scattered over an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. Depending on your room and the viewing angle, you can enjoy the different aspects of Satoyama, such as the magnificent nature of the Zao Mountain Range, a forest of trees, and a farm filled with home-grown vegetables. You can cross the promenade and take a stroll around the area, visiting the four private open-air baths and admiring the flowers that bloom in each season. The main building of the inn is the central space of Daikon no Hana. The majestic wooden structure, with its 180-year-old beams catching the eye, is a sight to behold. The dishes made with vegetables freshly harvested from their own farm are also gentle and powerful.

Kaminoyama Azumaya is a long-established inn located in Kaminoyama Onsen, which flourished as a post town during the Edo period and has been bustling with travelers since ancient times, having been open for more than 560 years. "World Heritage Hidden Inn Kajitsunomori" opened in November 2018 and is located on a hill in Ichinoseki City, the gateway to the World Heritage Site Hiraizumi. One of the attractions is that you can pick fruit in the fields right in front of you in spring, summer, and autumn. It is also connected by a hallway to its sister inn, Yamazakura Momo no Yu, which has 17 different types of baths, so we recommend taking a tour around the baths. Enjoy dishes that make full use of Iwate's rich ingredients, such as freshly harvested organic vegetables. It's about a 10-minute drive from Chuson-ji and Motsu-ji temples, and close to the scenic beauty of Genbikei, so you'll want to fully enjoy sightseeing in Iwate.
