Guests can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients, such as "Murakami beef," fresh fish sourced from Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, and Koshihikari rice "Kousagimai", from Sekikawa Village. Breakfast offers a well-balanced menu, including loin ham from "Onnagawa Ham Factory", overnight dried horse mackerel, soft-boiled eggs, and bracken miso soup. Children's lunches are also available, which is a plus. "Chef's Table," a course meal prepared by a chef who has trained at restaurants in Tokyo and Niigata Prefecture, is limited to one group per day (up to four guests), and reservations are accepted up to three days in advance.

"Lotte Arai Resort" occupies an expansive site of approximately one million tsubo in Myoko City, Niigata, with four buildings housing a total of 257 guest rooms. During the green season, a variety of activities are available, while the snow season offers winter sports amid abundant snowfall and powder. Year-round activities include a "zipline," "zip tour," and pool. A shuttle bus operates between JR Joetsumyoko Station and the hotel, and free dedicated parking is available. The surrounding area also offers numerous spots for both seaside and mountain sports.

This Japanese-style inn stands along the gently flowing Shinano-gawa River. Warm hospitality creates an atmosphere reminiscent of returning home.
