A Tranquil Retreat Nestled in a Serene Woodland Setting
Located in the quiet forest of the Nasu Highlands, this hotel is based on the concept of "NOTE = Fragrance" and allows you to encounter various scents during your stay, including nature, food, and hot springs. The facility features two private baths, "Dou no Yu" and "Sumi no Yu" each with an indoor and outdoor bath. In this private space, surrounded by the clear forest air, the chirpbirds chirping, and nature's scent forget about time and relax as you soak in the free-flowing waters of Nasu Onsen, which has a history of over 1,000 years.

Guest Room

"Superior Twin Room"

"Superior Twin Room" has a calming atmosphere with an interior reminiscent of the forests of the Nasu Highlands. The sloped high ceiling enhances the spacious feel of the room, while expansive windows frame the surrounding nature like a living landscape.

"Superior Double Room"

"Superior Double Room" has a double bed and offers a relaxing stay. A spacious sofa is set by the window, providing a serene place to enjoy the scenery. It feels like staying at a private holiday villa, surrounded by peace and comfort.

Five Selectable Scents to Enjoy in the Comfort of Your Room

Each room has a different room fragrance. There are five randomly selected scents - "White Tea", "Classy Soap", "Antique Flower", "Verbena Citrus", and "Fog Musk" - so you can enjoy them over and over again.

Spa

Private Bath "Copper Bath"

There are two types of private baths available within the facility. The "Dou no Yu" has an indoor bath with impressive copper-colored walls and an open-air stone bath accommodating about three people. As long as it is unoccupied during opening hours, guests may enjoy repeated use throughout their stay.

Private Bath "Charcoal Bath"

The "Sumi no Yu" has a spacious indoor bath with charcoal-colored walls that create a calming atmosphere, and an open-air bath with a Shigaraki-yaki ceramic tub that can fit about two people. Relax your mind and body in this private space while gazing at the abundant nature that unfolds before your eyes.

Free-Flowing Hot Spring Water From Nasu Onsen

All of the water in the private baths comes directly from the source of the Oku-no-Sawa fumarolic springs in the mountains of Chausu-dake. This simple sulfur spring is known for its potential benefits in relieving lower back pain, neuralgia, and fatigue. Take your time to experience the charm of Nasu Onsen, which boasts a history of over 1,000 years.
