Built around the three essentials of "Eat, Rest, and Restore," this intimate camp resort is designed for 2 to 4 guests, offering a refined retreat created exclusively for adults. Time here is meant to be savored—whether shared with someone special or spent in quiet reflection. As a rule, pets and children under 12 are not permitted, preserving a calm, grown-up atmosphere throughout the property. Set at an elevation of approximately 1,020 meters, the location commands uninterrupted, ever-changing views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi across the seasons. The site itself lies in a secluded, sacred area long cherished by the local community. New yet comfortingly familiar, the space invites guests to reconnect with nature and experience moments of deep harmony in an unhurried, natural setting.

Guest Room

A Private Glamping Retreat Overlooking Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi

Set in a rare, elevated location approximately 1,020 meters above sea level, this glamping retreat offers uninterrupted views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi below. The property consists of seven private, stand-alone units, each reserved exclusively for one group. Designed as an adults-focused camp resort, pets and children under 12 are not permitted, creating a quiet setting that encourages meaningful time—both between people and with the surrounding nature.

"QOO HOUSE"

QOO HOUSE, with its charming, rounded silhouette that blends naturally into the forest, accommodates 1 to 4 guests. Built with insulated materials, the interior offers an exceptionally comfortable environment, while both the room and private deck provide a front-row view of the surrounding landscape as it gently shifts with the light and seasons.

"NEL HOUSE"

NEL HOUSE, designed for 1 to 2 guests, features a warm interior crafted from natural wood and a compact, charming trailer-style exterior. Each unit is reserved exclusively for one group, offering a private and comfortable stay that feels approachable even for first-time outdoor travelers.

Winter-Only Kotatsu Moments with a View of Mount Fuji

Settle into the warmth of a kotatsu (a traditional Japanese heated table) while gazing out at Mount Fuji and the surrounding forest—an experience available only in winter. By day, crisp skies bring the landscape into sharp focus; by night, a canopy of stars illuminates the quiet darkness, offering slow, restorative moments for both body and mind.

Cuisine

A Hearty BBQ Dinner in a Glamping Setting

The dinner set features Kōshū brand pork, locally sourced game, and a whole roasted chicken, accompanied by vegetables grown on the property’s own farm. Prepared in a hearty barbecue style, each dish showcases the deep, natural flavors shaped by the pure spring water of the Mount Fuji foothills. Seasonal produce delivered straight from the fields adds a sense of place, making every visit a chance to savor tastes unique to that time of year.

A Scenic Café Open to Non-Guests

A café overlooking Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi is currently in its pre-opening phase. Guests can enjoy coffee, sweets, and light dishes featuring local game from the Mount Fuji foothills, all served against a sweeping natural backdrop. The café is open to non-staying visitors as well, with a full grand opening planned for spring 2024, when additional seating will be introduced.

Vegetables and Rice Grown on the Property Without Pesticides

Dinner features vegetables grown without pesticides on the property’s own farm, prepared to highlight their natural flavor and freshness. Seasonal produce, harvested at its peak, offers rich taste and nutritional depth, bringing a sense of balance and vitality that reflects the land itself.

Facility

Relaxing Moments by the Campfire

A large fire pit is set on the deck, creating a welcoming place to sit back and take in the surrounding views. Simply watching the landscape in silence offers a rare moment to clear the mind. After dinner, the gentle flicker of the flames and a sky filled with stars invite a deeply relaxing, unhurried evening.

Location

A Nature-Framed Terrace Welcomed by Panoramic Views

Opened in 2024, the Scenic Terrace with Views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi offers a front-row seat to one of Japan’s most iconic landscapes. Crafted to highlight the natural warmth of wood, the terrace blends seamlessly into the surrounding forest, creating a quiet space to take in sweeping views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi in their full grandeur.

Mount Fuji Remote Worship Site (Torii in the Sky)

Known worldwide as a striking scenic viewpoint, the Mount Fuji Remote Worship Site—often called the Torii in the Sky—draws visitors from around the globe. Located within walking distance of the property, the vivid red torii gate set against the soaring presence of Mount Fuji creates a scene found only in this area, offering a memorable moment of quiet awe and reflection.

Moments of Calm at Kawaguchi Asama Shrine and Haha-no-Shirataki Waterfall

A visit to Kawaguchi Asama Shrine—said to have been founded to calm the eruptions of Mount Fuji—offers a quiet moment of reflection rooted in local history and belief. Nearby, the serene Haha-no-Shirataki Waterfall is a lesser-known retreat where cool air and flowing water create a refreshing, restorative atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop while exploring the area.
