A Dogo Onsen Stay With Three Private Baths Limited to Six Guests Per Day
This hot spring inn is conveniently located about a three-minute walk from the Dogo Onsen Main Building, the symbol of Dogo Onsen, and about a one-minute walk from Iyotetsu Dogo Onsen Station. Although it only accommodates six groups per day, it has three private baths where you can enjoy free-flowing Dogo Onsen water, a simple alkaline spring that is gentle on the skin. The private baths are "Yuyama," a stone bath made with oil stones from the Ishitegawa River; "Yuhime," a tile bath with an open-air bath; and "Yuzuki," a stone bath where you can also enjoy a half-body bath. Each bath has a different atmosphere, so you'll want to try them all.

Guest Room

Six Unique Rooms Each With Its Own Concept and Character

There are a total of six guest rooms, five in the accommodation building and one in the annex. Each room presents a distinct character, ranging from a calming Japanese-style space to a Japanese-modern room with Taisho Romantic touches and more playful layouts, creating a sense of curiosity that invites trying them all.

Private In-Room Bath Available in the Detached "Hatsuko"

This two-story wooden villa-style guest room has a study facing the garden and a private indoor bath on the first floor, designed to offer four different bathing experiences when combined with the private bath. The second floor features a bedroom with a terrace to enjoy the seasonal scenery of Dogo Onsen.

Taisho Romantic Style Captured in "Juuroku-nichizakura"

The room has a retro feel, with a wooden-floored living room furnished with a sofa and hanging chair. The tatami-floored loft is the bedroom and can accommodate up to three people. The loft is a corner room facing east, creating a bright, comfortable atmosphere for relaxed time indoors.

Spa

Exclusive Access to Dogo Onsen in Three Private Baths

The inn is limited to six groups per day, but it has three private baths with different atmospheres. Guests can enjoy the smooth waters of Dogo Onsen, which will warm you to the core. One of the private baths, "Yuhime," also features an open-air bath.

"Yuyama" - The Largest Private Bath

The privately available stone bath "Yuyama" will reopen in February 2022. The bathhouse, a combination of oil and blue stones from the Yuyama area of Matsuyama City, has been expanded to twice its size, making it the largest of all the private baths.

Cuisine

Local Fresh Fish and Homegrown Vegetables for Memorable Dining

The restaurant is known for its dishes using plenty of ingredients from Ehime Prefecture, offering fresh seasonal dishes like seafood caught in the Seto Inland Sea that very morning and vegetables grown on their own farm. The thoughtful service of presenting each dish individually after the previous course is finished adds a refined sense of hospitality to the dining experience.

A Fulfilling Start to a New Journey with Breakfast

A hearty breakfast made with approximately 25 different ingredients. Enjoy healthy flavors that maximize the natural flavors of the vegetables, fish, and other ingredients. A selection of satisfying dishes perfect for starting a new day.

Facility

Mountain Village-Inspired Garden with Gentle Expanses

Passing through a garden inspired by a mountain village leads naturally to the hotel entrance. The garden is filled with the gentle presence of nature and is adorned with plants, and even features a pond handcrafted by the third-generation owner. It is a thoughtful design that will instantly make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city and heighten your anticipation for your stay.

Service Designed With Attention and Innovative Ideas

"Imabari towels" are used for hand and bath towels. Original yukata robes are made of 100% cotton and feel comfortable against the skin. Electrolyzed reduced water made by a water purifier manufactured by "Nihon Trim" is available to drink in the rooms and library.

A Carefully Curated Book Library

The inn's specialty is its book library, boasting over 700 books selected by third-generation poet Uotake Hamada Shigeo, including old books about Matsuyama and Dogo, as well as poetry and art books. The serene atmosphere with an irori hearth offers a luxurious stay.

"Takeji" Offering Serene Dining for Evening and Morning Meals

The restaurant "Takeji" has been renovated to provide a peaceful dining experience. Four private rooms have been added, increasing the total to seven. Private dining rooms accommodating 2 to 8 guests allow meals to unfold at an unhurried pace, free from concern about surrounding tables.
