Located in central Kochi City, "Joseikan" is a long-established ryokan approximately a 1-minute walk from the Tosaden Traffic Kamimachi 1-chome Stop. Guest rooms blend traditional Japanese character with a modern atmosphere, offering a relaxing setting filled with the scent of tatami. The top-floor open-air observation bath and large observation bath overlook the Kochi castle town below. From the post-bath lounge, "Shiromi Yagura," illuminated, Kochi Castle comes into view, creating a distinctive atmosphere away from everyday life. The inn also offers convenient access to "Hirome Market," known for bringing together a variety of local foods.

Dinner and banquet menus feature Tosa's signature seared bonito. Prepared using the traditional straw-grilling method, the bonito retains its freshness while gaining a fragrant, smoky finish. Dynamic straw-grilling demonstrations are also available for viewing.
