Enjoy the Magical Beautifying Water in their Public Bath
Tamatsukuri Onsen in Shimane Prefecture was discovered during the Nara period and is also known as the "hot spring of the gods." Hotel Gyokusen, a hotel with a spacious bathing facility covering a total area of about 1,050 square meters, enables guests to unwind and leisurely experience the hot springs. The Iwa-no-Yu bath offers a view of the natural rock formations, while the Hinoki-no-Yu bath provides the soothing aroma and texture of hinoki cypress. Additionally, the hotel features an outdoor bath and a sauna. Visitors can opt to use the private baths for a fee, indulging in a secluded moment in the "Hakucho" and "Kuromatsu" baths, named after the prefecture's bird and tree, respectively.

Tamatsukuri Onsen in Shimane Prefecture, also known as the "Hot Spring of the Gods", has a history dating back to the Nara period (710-794).
Kyokusui-no-Niwa Hotel Gyokusen features an expansive bathing facility of approximately 1,050m², offering a tranquil setting to fully appreciate the therapeutic waters. The sulphate- and chloride-rich spring water, known for its skin-beautifying properties, can be enjoyed in both large communal baths and open-air baths.

Contrasting Atmospheres of "Iwa-no-Yu" and "Hinoki-no-Yu"

Two distinct bath areas are available: "Iwa-no-uu", featuring abundant natural rock for a sense of openness and raw beauty, and "Hinoki-no-yu", offering the calming scent of cypress and a smooth, gentle feel against the skin. Access alternates between men and women in the morning and evening, and both baths include sauna facilities.

Exclusive Use of Natural Hot Springs in a Reserved Bath

The private open-air baths "Kuromatsu" and "Hakucho" are available exclusively to overnight guests. Each bath is equipped with handrails, offering a relaxing and accessible space that can be enjoyed in comfort by all. From the glass windows, a tranquil Japanese-style garden can be viewed, adding to the serene atmosphere.

Multi-Course Dining Featuring Blackthroat Seaperch and "Shimane Wagyu"

For dinner, a banquet featuring ingredients unique to the San'in region, such as fatty "nodoguro" (rosy seabass) and "Shimane Wagyu" (melt-in-your-mouth beef), is served. Depending on the season, you can also savor dishes made with "Makomo," a sacred plant at Izumo Taisha Shrine.

"En no Asa" - A breakfast Buffet with a Wide Variety of Dishes

Breakfast is served buffet style with around 60 different Japanese and Western dishes made with plenty of ingredients from Shimane Prefecture. The build-your-own seafood bowl is also popular. Enjoy a nutritious breakfast with fresh local vegetables and clams from Lake Shinji.

Complimentary drinks are offered in the first-floor lounge, available for use after check-in. Kyokusui Garden, a Japanese Garden with Flickering Bonfires

The symbol of the inn is the "Kyokusui Garden," which exudes a Japanese atmosphere. The garden, decorated with pine trees and stones, is also home to the "Shusse Inari Shrine (branch shrine)" and a teahouse, and is open for strolling.
