This Ryokan (inn) takes pride in its cuisine, offering generous servings of "Tsuruga fugu" and "Tsuruga red sea bream"—local specialties of Fukui Prefecture. As the fish are farmed in-house, guests can enjoy these premium ingredients at reasonable prices throughout the year. The farm is located along a ria coastline where the Sea of Japan’s waves are calm and the seawater temperature remains low—ideal conditions for raising fish with firm flesh and rich flavor. With around 35 years of experience in fugu cuisine, the inn offers not only sashimi in its course meals, but also unique dishes such as "Fugu Gyoza"—sure to leave a lasting impression.
