Two Distinct Villas for Unhurried Stays with Scenic Views
Located on Omishima Island along the Setouchi Shimanami Kaido, this private villa stay offers uninterrupted views of the gentle Seto Inland Sea. "iru" is designed entirely for appreciating the scenery, featuring an 18-tatami-mat LDK (approximately 30m²) and a terrace with a depth of about 3 meters, creating a beautifully composed space where natural light and interior illumination are thoughtfully balanced. "måne" offers a relaxing atmosphere in which art and the landscape framed by the windows come together, showcasing furniture and interior pieces crafted by local artists. Both villas include ocean-view bathrooms, allowing the sea and sky to be enjoyed through open windows during a soothing bath.

"-Iru-" with the Sun as Its Landmark

Stay in a refined space created for appreciating the surrounding scenery. The 18-tatami-mat LDK (approximately 30m²) features a front-facing kitchen and a carefully considered balance of natural light and interior illumination. A terrace with a depth of about 3 meters and a bathtub overlooking the sea further enhance the sense of relaxation.

A Captivating Creative World Shaped by Two Artists

The copperplate prints, logos, and room motifs displayed at "iru" are all the work of illustrator and printmaker Mariko Hirasawa. It is also decorated with flowers created by flower stylist Kazumi Hirai, allowing you to relax in a beautiful setting.

"måne" with the Moon as a Landmark

This thoughtfully sized space offers a harmonious blend of window-framed scenery and curated artwork, making it well-suited for solo stays. Furniture, interior pieces, and art created by skilled artists are arranged with care, creating an environment that both soothes and gently stimulates the senses.

A Sensory Space Where Art and Landscape Converge

"måne" is coordinated by Shino Yamamoto, director of a gallery in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo that presents exhibitions by artists from Japan and abroad, together with Naoko Kimura, an interior designer and stylist. The space invites relaxation while subtly awakening the senses.

A Circular Window Framing the Surrounding Landscape

Both "iru" and "måne" have Japanese-style rooms with circular windows, allowing you to enjoy the scenery as if you were looking out from inside a ship. A shoji screen gently softens the sunlight, allowing the Japanese-style room to offer shifting views that change with the angle of the setting sun.

Breakfast with Fresh Ingredients from Ehime

Breakfast for the first night’s stay features fresh ingredients from Ehime, presented in their pre-prepared state and available to be enjoyed at any preferred time, with items such as orange juice and jams also provided. For dinner, arrangements such as an assorted sashimi platter may be discussed with at least one week’s advance notice.

The gallery, which can be used for art exhibitions, live concerts, cafe events, and more, has a characteristic curved shape and white walls, and the view of the Seto Inland Sea can be seen from the large windows like a painting. Sa-Rah collection sales will also be held.

The kitchen is equipped with a full range of cookware—including an induction cooktop, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle—along with tableware such as glasses and plates. This setup allows meals to be prepared with ease, making it possible to appreciate the freshness of local ingredients through personally selected menus.

Premium Organic Towels for a Gentle Touch

Towels are manufactured by IKEUCHI ORGANIC, whose corporate philosophy is "maximum safety and minimum environmental impact." Soft, plush towels add a soothing touch to the stay, and bamboo toothbrushes stamped with the Yu-Rah branding are also provided.

Stylish Room Wear Made from Natural Materials

Room wear designed by Sa-Rah—a brand based in Ozu City, Ehime, known for clothing crafted from natural materials such as cotton, linen, and wool—is provided. The stylish pieces are suitable for a casual stroll, creating a relaxed atmosphere for an unhurried stay.

Each villa features an ocean-view bathroom, where the windows may be opened to welcome the sea breeze and the sound of the waves for a calming soak. Bath time becomes a highlight of the stay, whether spent under a star-filled sky or while taking in the soft glow of the morning sun.
