Enjoy the Beautiful Scenery of the Mikata Five Lakes and the Natural Beauty of the Mountains
A Japanese inn located on the shore of Wakasa Town, Fukui , near the Mikata Five Lakes. This inn takes pride in the fact that you can enjoy the lake view from your guest room, open-air bath, and indoor bath with a panoramic view. Nearby is the dynamic driving course "Rainbow Line" where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Mikata Five Lakes, and the inn also rents out EV rental cars. We have set the prices more reasonable than usual because we want people visiting on public institutions to be able to make memories with family, friends, and loved ones.

Guest Room

A Pure Japanese-Style Room That Is Spacious Enough for the Whole Family to Relax Together

All guest rooms are approximately 11.5 tatami mats in size and are pure Japanese-style rooms with a toilet and washroom. The room is named after the shop name "Iro Kasane," and has a layered 12-layered design. The name was chosen with the hope that people would remember the food, scenery, and service.

Boasts a Beautiful Lake View of the Mikata Five Lakes

All guest rooms face northwest, offering views of the Mikata Five Lakes as well as "Rainbow Line" mountaintop park. In the evening, you can enjoy a particularly beautiful sight with the setting sun reflecting on the water surface.

Spa

"Open-Air Bath"

You can enjoy "Mikata Onsen", a hot spring unique to Wakasa with its rich water source, in an open-air bath with a direct view of the Mikata Five Lakes. The recommended time to take a bath is in the evening, and enjoy the beautiful sunset that changes as the sun goes down. There is one men's bath and one women's bath.

"Scenic Bath"

The observation bath allows you to enjoy the same view as the open-air bath from the glass-enclosed interior. There is one men's bath and one women's bath, and bathing hours are from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., as well as an open-air bath. Bath amenities are also well stocked.

"Mikata Onsen"

We use hot water from "Mikata Onsen", a natural hot spring in Wakasa with a rich water source. The spring quality is "Simple weakly radioactive cold mineral spring (hypotonic weakly acidic cold mineral spring)" and is expected to be effective against neuralgia, joint pain, skin diseases, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, gout, and gynecological disorders.

Cuisine

Savor Local Specialty Pufferfish Dishes

Located in Fukui , which is famous for its delicious seafood, it is located near Wakasa Bay, and boasts dishes made with fresh seafood prepared using authentic Japanese cuisine techniques. The popular puffer fish is locally farmed Wakasa pufferfish, and we offer courses that allow you to enjoy it in a variety of ways.

Crab Dishes Not to Be Missed as a Winter Treat

Crab, a typical winter delicacy, is served in beautiful-looking dishes starting in early November. "Echizen crab", which is highly ranked among snow crabs, has an outstanding sweetness compared to other crabs. Kaiseki cuisine can also be enjoyed as a mix of Japanese and Western courses.

Proud Kaiseki Cuisine Made with Ingredients from Wakasa

We offer the luxurious "Matsu Course", which is an inventive seafood dish that includes local fish and shellfish, the standard "Bamboo Course", and the reasonable "Plum Course". We are particular about the materials used and provide authentic craftsmanship.
