A Luxurious Hidden Inn With Spectacular Views of Okawa Valley and Yunokami Onsen
This hot spring inn overlooking the valley is located approximately 13 minutes on foot from Aizu Railway Yunokami Onsen Station and approximately 50 minutes by car from Shirakawa IC on the Tohoku Expressway. This hideaway inn has only 12 rooms, all of which allow you to enjoy hot springs flowing straight from the source. The amenities include LEAF & BOTANICS, which incorporates the power of plants to survive in the natural environment. Some rooms also have open-air baths, so you can enjoy a relaxing time while looking out at the valley, which is colored by nature throughout the four seasons, and feeling the night breeze.

Special Room [Tozuki]

The special rooms located in the quietest corners are luxurious Japanese-style rooms of 16, 8, and 6 tatami mats, equipped with an open-air bath and an indoor bath with natural hot spring water. After taking a bath, relax on the massage chair by the window or the sofa on the wide edge and enjoy the relaxing time.

Special Room [Ryuzuki]

The special room, recommended for families, has a layout with an open-air bath and an indoor bath with natural hot spring water, sandwiched between 12 and 10 tatami Japanese-style rooms. The rooms are close to the large public bath and private open-air bath, making it convenient for enjoying Yunokami Onsen in a variety of baths.

A spacious guest room with two consecutive Japanese-style rooms and an indoor bath with natural hot spring water. There is a wide veranda where you can relax on the sofa, perfect for relaxing after taking a bath while looking out at the seasonal Okawa Valley. The indoor bath is made of rare Towada stone and walls of cypress.

At the private open-air baths [Sengetsu/Mikazuki], you can enjoy a bath while feeling the seasonal breeze. You can easily take a bath from sunrise until midnight, and no reservations are required; you can lock the changing room and use the bath for about 30 minutes.

Enjoy the "beautiful skin" of Yunokami Onsen in the large public bath

The large public bath, where you can take a bath whenever you like during your stay, is a pleasant space with a view of the Okawa Valley from the window. There is a large public bath for gentlemen [Mangetsu] and a large public bath for ladies [Oborozuki].Both baths are divided into large and small baths, so you can enjoy different hot water temperatures.

Yunokami Onsen is known as a "hot spring for beautiful skin" that leaves your skin smooth and smooth after bathing. The spring quality is a weakly alkaline simple hot spring, and the soft water is effective for neuralgia and muscle pain. It is said that in the past, injured monkeys would soak in the hot water to heal their bodies.

The dishes touch on the origins of Japanese cuisine, including rice cooked in a clay pot made with local Koshihikari rice soaked in plenty of hot spring water, miso soup made with red and white miso, green beans and tofu, and elaborately crafted star-shaped boxes.

Popular tourist destination "Ouchi-juku"

Ouchi-juku, which still retains its Edo-period townscape and has more than 30 thatched-roof houses, is about 12 minutes away by car. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops where you can enjoy local specialties, and you can enjoy interacting with the villagers throughout the seasons, including the traditional "Hanka Matsuri".

Tonohetsuri: A Cliff With a Stunning Panoramic View

Tonohetsuri, which has been designated as a national natural monument, is a spectacular sight with a series of strangely shaped rocks created by erosion and weathering. The "hetsuri", which means "steep cliff" in the dialect of the Aizu region, are lined up like towers. No matter what season you visit, the scenery is spectacular.
